Every participant will take home their completed creation, whether it’s a preserved butterfly in a shadowbox or the skeletal remains unearthed from an owl pellet. Jackalope Taxidermy Class

Create your own legendary Jackalope! This hands-on taxidermy class, led by professional taxidermist, Katie Innamorato of Afterlife Anatomy, will guide you through the process of crafting your very own Jackalope shoulder mount. Originating from North American folklore, the Jackalope is a mythical creature—a fusion of a rabbit and antelope horns. In this immersive 4+ hour workshop, you’ll work with a provided rabbit form, a tanned rabbit hide, and cast deer antlers, which you’ll hand-paint to bring your creation to life. Each participant will have their own set of tools, with one-on-one guidance from Katie throughout the process.


Full Body Mole Taxidermy Class

Craft your own Full-Body Mole Mount in this immersive, hands-on taxidermy class led by professional taxidermist Katie Innamorato of Afterlife Anatomy. Moles are fascinating subterranean creatures, known for their velvety fur, compact bodies, and powerful forelimbs built for digging. Under Katie’s expert guidance, you’ll learn the techniques needed to preserve and mount a full-body mole, bringing this unique little mammal to life in your own creation. By the end of the class, you’ll take home your completed Full-Body Mole Mount: an extraordinary addition to any oddities collection!


Butterfly Pinning Taxidermy Class

In this class, you'll learn how to rehydrate, pin, and frame butterflies and moths for home decor. You'll practice relaxing specimens, pinning them securely, and framing for display with professional bone artist, Sammi of Brain Fever Artwork and Taxidermy!


Owl Pellet Dissection Class

In this one-hour workshop, students will dissect owl pellets, uncovering bones and skulls from prey like voles, mice, or shrews. Using identification charts, participants can piece together skeletons from their findings, all of which can be taken home. Presented by professional bone artist, Sammi of Brain Fever Artwork and Taxidermy!
